Learn new life skills

Our genes, life experiences, upbringing and environment all affect our mental health and influence how we think and respond to situations.

By understanding why we behave as we do, we become more self aware. When we understand ourselves better we can communicate better and build healthy relationships.

Equine therapy can help if you suffer from stress and anxiety, if you feel something is holding you back or if you are at cross roads in your life which you would like to explore.

The experiential programme is made up of 6 sessions with a mix of discussions inside which are then explored outside with the horses.

Self awareness

Our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and attitudes can positively or negatively affect our biological functioning - in other words our minds can affect how healthy our bodies are.

In these sessions we learn how to notice what is happening in our head and our body and connect our thoughts, feelings and body sensations.

Understand emotions

It’s a scientific fact that emotions precede thought. When emotions run high, they change the way our brains function and affect our thoughts.

Understanding and managing our emotions helps us to be more successful in our everyday lives.

Build relationships

Develop social skills  such as trust, empathy, negotiation, compromise, and learn non verbal communication skills to build respect and rapport in your relationships.
